WHO?

Originally it was just one guy who thought it wouldn’t be much work. This idiot goes by the name of Gerard Pidoto. Fortunately in his travels, he has discovered other idiots similar to him.

Wildflower Music is now run by two groups. The first, a dedicated core group who organise everything leading up to gigs, from bookings to promotion and all sorts of other stuff WAY too boring to list here.

The second group is our large list of passionate volunteers who help out with the running of the gig on the day. These guys help out with the canteen, door and of course setting up and packing up!

WHY?

It’s certainly not for the money!..
(Note to any aspiring Event Managers.. all ages gigs WILL NOT MAKE YOU RICH!!)
It must have something to do with our love for live music.

WHERE?

Our gigs are at various locations depending on the size of the event. We’ll book a gig at any venue that allows us make lots of noise and supports what we do. This could be a scout hall, church, pub/club or someone’s backyard!

WHEN?

It all kicked off in Jan 2004.
Gig times range from Fri Night, Sat arvo, Sat night or Sun arvo.
